WHO WE ARE:
The NOC is an all-volunteer association that
provides advocacy for people with questions and
or problems with DSS, SSA, Food Stamps,
Medicare, Medicaid, and with
Landlord/Tenant.
If the volunteer does not know the answer nor
the resources to handle the problem we will try
to refer you to an agency that might be able to
help you.

question....i know DSS is Dept of Social Services...but what is SSA?
Is there other services that u can help out with too? such as VA (Veterans Affairs) or... what cant you assist with...some more info would be appreciated!

SSA stands for Social Security Admin. I haven't had to much dealings with the VA, so I usually deal with what I know about.
The organization does not ask or do we accept money donations. We do ask people to help to collect food, clothles and other items. During the Christmas Holiday we collect Christmas Cards for residents at the Nursing Home and we also collect small stocking stuffers for children and adults.
I run the organization from my apartment so you can reach me at 315-923-7921.
We are in the process of getting more people to join State wide and setting up more local Chapters.
Please ask if you have any additional questions.
